Yorkie mixes and designer breeds do not have the same consistency seen in purebred dogs. You will find a huge amount of variability with mixed-breed dogs. A Yorkipoo with a toy poodle parent is likely to be very small, typically less than 10 pounds, but Yorkipoos with a miniature poodle parent might be less than 10 pounds but could weigh as much as 20 pounds. Poodles are highly intelligent, affectionate, and eager to please, and Yorkipoos might inherit these traits. The coat might be straight and silky, curly, or wiry, and could be a good fit for people with allergies. Yorkipoos might be blue and tan like a Yorkie, or a poodle color, such as white, black, silver, brown, red, or apricot.

Bichons weigh about 12 to 18 pounds, so a Yorkie-chon is likely to be a bit larger than a Yorkie. Bichons are playful, cheerful, and lively companions that enjoy learning and performing tricks, and Yorkie-chons might inherit these traits.
